IIRC there was a side quest that you couldn't even finish in the US
version.

Weren't the Persona titles supposed to be somewhat sequential, only one
game didn't make it over, so American gamers had to rely on a summary of
the missing game to understand what was going on with the later titles?

There were certainly a alot of games on the PS1 that had
localization...issues... From bad translations, to bad re-writes, it was
sort of a hodgepodge. And all the while, American gamers were HAPPY that
the game just made it to the US in some shape or form. Somehow I think
those days are mostly over. If a game isn't going to be a guaranteed big
hit, it's going to stay in Japan. :(

So forgive me for not being excited over Persona.

Meanwhile, there are still more RPG's coming for the 360 than the PS3.
