Agreed. I'm surprised that none of the professional reviewers noticed
this, but then they may all be using 4:3 displays.

* Sound: Enemies are talking and yelling while your guide is talking to you
at the same time that you are trying to listen to an audio diary.

Press start, go to options and turn on subtitles.

* Graphics: Yes, the environments look great...but they are enclosed, so
they had better look great. Too much blood/grime for my taste, but I mostly
dislike the cartoonish look of the Splicers and their animation.

I thought they looked better than the demo version.

* Gameplay: At least so far, every time you need to hack a security bot,
camera, safe, or vending machine, you get the same "pipeworks" puzzle. It
shouldn't have been that much of an effort to mix up the hacking puzzles,
even just a little.

Different devices have different difficulty. When you try to hack a
vending machine some tiles will flip over traps and bombs.
