I can't believe you of all people would post this.
You do realize it will be far superior to the 360 version, right?

Anything coming out this much later should be that much better. The 360
version would be that much better with an extra year to develope.

Probably not. The graphics capabilities of leading-edge PC graphics
cards that fully support the DirectX 10 API can outperform the XBox
360 no question, but then again that's why you pay $600 or more for a
video card (see the nVidia based GeForce "BFG" 8800 GTX series). with
their massive texture memory and incredible processing power these
cards can dance circles around the hardware in the PS3 and XBox 360,
but as usual the technology is way too expensive for console based
gaming.

With Vista and DirectX10, Microsoft is still trying to make PC gaming
the high-end platform and it is, it's just still a smaller group
compared to console gamers and also up untill this point PC game
makers have to make the product adapt to whatever video hardware is in
the system, I think part of their push with Vista and DX10 is to make
it even a more elite class with these "Vista only" games forcing
gamers into having better video hardware.

I'm not sure what their long term aim of this is, since gaming is one
of the big things Microsoft's Windows/Vista platform does have going
for it (it's terms capability, not necessarily backwards
compatibility).
