Repair jobs on 360

Does microsoft actually check every machine that goes in for repair. I have
a machine that I got fixed by an outside person and had the fan speed
cranked up then it took a shit after a week.Should I take the risk sending
it back to MS I already have a shipping box sent to me.What do you gamers
think!
