Well Mr Private Privaye another one of my friends bit the RROD dust
yesterday. He thought all of us (group of friends) were full of shit
about our problems with the 360. Needless to say his tune has
changed now. Well Mattfan is the last person I have on my friends
list that hasn't experienced a problem with his 360. Oh wait yes he
has. He is on his 2nd system as well. Guess I have no one left on my
list. Maybe my friends list suffers the Madden curse. I guess no
one on here should add me to their friends list ;-)

Yeah, everytime I am online and see you long onto XBL, I get off.
That way, you can't transfer your RROD curse to my console. And to
be clear, my first unit failed with the rarely mentioned, "can't read
disc" problem and not the RROD. I am truly surprised that this
doesn't happen more often than it does.

I don't know how to tell you this MF but I sign on LIVE as OFFLINE a
lot just to avoid people asking me to join them in GOW. The curse will
catch you!

Damn, an incognito curse. GOW was fun for a while but it truly is a
pain in the ass still receiving those GOW and Halo2 invites. There is
so much more to the 360 than those games but you would never know based
on Live.


Halo 3 opened my eyes to GOW. I seriously can't believe how much of my
gaming time I wasted playing GOW considering all the cheats, glitches an
inaccuracy of the weapons online.

2K8 is going to be my next addiction me thinks.
I was disappointed at first glance but now the more I see of the game
the more I want to play it.

All-Pro? As you or ANYONE on in this group on my friend's list knows, I
spend more time online playing sports titles than anyone on here. While
I will purchase AP2K8, along with NCAA08 and Madden, I am not getting my
hopes up for the game. I had tons of fun with 2K5 but I have a feeling a
prettied up version of that game will not do it for me. I am also
wondering why there is little to know gameplay footage made available of
this title when it will be the first of all the football games. With
time, I bet it will develop into a killer game but there is no way it is
going to live up to the anti-EA hype that is so prevalent nowadays. From
what I understand, NBA 2K8 is going to kick ass and I am definitely
looking forward to that. According to IGN, EA's hockey title will be
superior to NHL 2k8 which has peaked my interest as well. But like I
said, there is something fishy about the lack of gameplay footage for the
game.

I pay attention to my friends list and you live on Madden and other sports
titles, but mostly I see you playing Madden.
You played Madden more than I played GOW and that is sic!

EA Hockey has me going out of my mind.
Hockey is "my" favorite sports video game and EA is really pulling out the
stops this year on all their sports titles.
I am even interested in their NBA LIVE this year.

Ok, since you are such a big hockey fan, I can ask. I haven't played a
hockey game since 2001 but mainly because I got so sick of scoring double
digit goals using the 1-timer trick that has been around since Blades of
Glory. Am I going to run into that any more or is there a lot more strategy
to scoring?
