Unlike other systems. ;)
does it come with HD-DVD?
Why, is it needed for gaming? If the PS3 had come with a dvd drive instead
of blu-ray would the games be noticeably worse on it? Sony kept insisting
that blu-ray was required in the PS3 because it was needed for next
generation gaming and therefore the additional cost of a blu-ray drive had
to shouldered by loyal Playstation gamers. Some companies (Insomniac in
particular) even bragged about the size of their games on blu-ray discs as
if to equate the size of the game on disc with the playing experience. Do
you feel the end products show why blu-ray was needed and why PS3 gamers had
to dish out hundreds of dollars more? Or do you feel that Sony just wanted
to promote their new format which really wasn't needed in the PS3.
I had no problem dishing out $699 for it. Like I had no problem
dishing out $808 for similiarly equipped 360...and it is needed for
gaming on a PS3, which I obviously don't have a problem with...why do
you have such a problem with that, since you apparently will never buy
a PS3?
