I was thinking of buying an Xbox 360 but I already have a DVD player

Xbox still worth it? What about downloading music to it? Thanks,

I think that really depends on how satisfied you are w/ PC gaming.
I myself was a PC gamer for a decade, but in the end, keeping up with the
hardware proved too expensive.
With a console you buy the thing and it's more or less the same for 5 years.
And with high def gaming, consoles have nearly caught up w/ pc's, or at least
close enough for me.
I personally love the 360. I play every game I get from top to bottom and I
find I can't keep up with all the great games coming out. I either need to quit
my job or not complete each and every game :) Achievements are great for
getting your moneys worth from a game. I find I will a play a game beyond what
i normally would do, just to get all the points. Then again, I here
achievements are coming to the pc.
As for putting music on the box, I have evreything set up on my PC, my reciever
and 35 gigs of music.
I don't see the reason in moving any music from my PC, to my box 6 feet away.
They both utilize the same speakers anyhow.
