Sony just announced they are
removing the hardware emulation from the PS3 (which makes PS2 games
play well on the PS3) and changing to a software emulation (which
makes last generation games play like shit on new generation systems).


Microsoft's backwards compatability has always been software emulation, and
while it's far from being perfect, it isn't bad, and is always being
improved on...
