Actually, it'll just be the player having to either run through a MP firefight or join in for an objective.True. You could like the game but find yourself with a $60 coaster if nobody else does. At least with AI now you can complete single player by yourself if the game bombs. What also gets me is how does the story progress when IMO obviously not everybody can be the "main character" in story mode since it's online and you might have 500 people trying to complete story mode at once? Does the character you play as end up not mattering even in story mode? I can't figure how they're going to get around that one.
Problem is, if the game is unpopular, you won't have anyone to fight - AI or otherwise.
