Saints Row Online. The 1 player was good but the multiplayer is just crap.
I was hoping it would be like World of Warcraft lol... Cruise around with
your buddies and find other people to kill / race etc

What game for the Xbox or Xbox 360 did you have humongously high hopes for
that quickly splatted after spending a few hours with it?

For me, it was "the next, new and improved Halo" Brute Force. And all the
mags raved about it -- and least the ones that wanted to get their reviews
out first.
