Blazing Angels (Campaign Question)

There isn't a whole lot of information about this game online so I figured
I'd ask here. Does anyone know how the medals are awarded? Is it based on
speed (how fast you complete objectives to complete the mission) or how many
you kill during each missing? The game is kind of hard to follow at times as
to what exactly you are suppose to do.
