How do you stand the noise though? The one huge complaint I have about the
360 hardware is that the drive is SO. FRICKIN. LOUD. 360 devkits (the
console devkits that are essentially identical to a retail 360 but run
unsigned code) are quiet as a mouse, so obviously it's possible to put a
drive in there that doesn't sound like a Learjet revving up for takeoff. I
have to keep mine behind a glass door or it would drive me insane.
It doesn't bother me, but then my office is in a server room so I hear
10,000 RPM drives and all the associated fans all day long. :^) Guess
I'm just numb to it.
I don't hear anything.
