I've got a launch machine and have had no problems. Just don't place it
on a heat source (like on top of a television) or block the vents (like
in an entertainment center or on carpet) and you should be fine.

For years I've run my gaming systems on a wire rack like this:

and I've never had a problem. My 9/9/1995 Playstation still works even
and it had similar problems.
