Keyboard & Mouse w/ XBOX 360?

Is it possible to use a USB hub to connect a mouse and keyboard to an
XBOX 360 and make them useable in games and the environment? I'm a PC
guy and just can't get the hang of using the controller (and frankly
don't particularly want to drive myself crazy spending the time trying
to train myself to use it, it's just not second nature for me).
Is it pointless to even ask? I don't see many options in games to
remap buttons, etc, so I'm assuming I'm SOL.
