CH shows a total lack of respect for Live

to me that these guys just... don't... get it. It took me over half a
dozen tries to get in and start playing with other people, and even
then, we were only successful when there were four total players.
(Once we got in, everything was completely lag-free, which was nice.)
I had the same trouble with the 25 to Life beta on the PS2. But then,
that was a beta... In the time I was part of the online testing I never
was able to successfully connect to a game. Fortunately our bug reports
on this issue are what delayed the title from August of last year to
October (not that it mattered, the game still sucked.)
The thing that sounds interesting about Chromehounds is the online
portion where you battle for control of a continent. When one side wins
the servers re-boot and you start over. Steel Battalion: Line of
Contact worked the same way, but there was no offline component. If you
combine SB with SB: LOC it sounds like what you get in Chromehounds -
the awesome controller.
