What I did say is if your opinion is that those who copy games drive up
the cost of games, you're smoking crack. There was no money coming to
them from those people to begin with. They would go without the game
entirely were it not possible to obtain it cheaply.


Wrong. It is true that not everyone who copies a game would have bought an
original. It is not true that NONE of them would have. So yes, theft ;
whether it is shoplifting the game directly off the shelf, or whether it is
illegally copying a game does drive up costs for honest consumers.
