Re: What's it like being an Xbot?

Im' just curious how it feels to be one of those people that made fun
of the PS2's graphical prowess for so many years only to get bitch
slapped when God of War was released.

As someone who owns a PS2 and an Xbox, I sat down with God of War and
laughed my ass off at what PS2 exclusive owners consider good graphics.
On my bigscreen TV it was a muddy, jumbled mess that couldn't hold a
candle to things like Ninja Gaiden. In fact, it didn't even look as
good as budget Xbox titles like Phantom Dust.

If you simply don't know any better then God of War looks great, for a
PS2 game. It would be in the middle third of Xbox titles (just below
Prince of Persia, Sands of Time).

Also, now that we know the Xbox360 is severly underpowered compaired to the PS3
are you planning on buying a PS3

It depends on the software available and the Blu-Ray features. I bought
a PS1 on launch day because of Battle Arena Toshinden. I bought a PSP
on launch day because of Mercury, Wipeout and Untold Legends. For the
PS2? The launch titles were garbage. The titles for the first entire
year were garbage. And the second, and the third. I finally picked one
up because I landed a $200 in store rebate the same day the PS2 price
dropped to $150. Katamari Damacy 1 and 2 are brilliant games, as is
Guitar Hero. The rest of them? No compelling reason to turn the machine
on (well, if you don't have Resident Evil 4 for the Gamecube, I guess
that would be another decent title.)

Since 90% of Xbots are Sega faboys do you still see the Dreamcast as the greatest
gaming machine ever made? Do you still think the Dreamcast is more powerful
than the PS2?

Year for year the Dreamcast outperformed the PS2 in every single way
except sales. More titles, better titles, better looking games. Sales
do not make the best system. But the best gaming machine ever made?
You're just being silly. The best gaming machine ever made was the
Commodore 64.
