Hello MAME fans. I wanted to know what mame is good for a slower linux
box. I want a frontend preferablly built in.
I have a 733 MHz celeron and 318 MB of ram.
Is there a way I can compile MAME to optimize it for my computer.
I'm using KDE
Thanks for any suggestions.
I had a 666 MHz/256 MB Linux box that was able to run Neo-Geo and CPS-2
games in SDLMAME without frameskipping, so there shouldn't be a reason
to mess around with getting an ancient version working.
Make sure you specify the right CPU in the makefile. You may also have
to use "-video opengl16", depending on the age of your video card.
