I will add something :-) If I understand correctly when MAME is run under XP, XP doesnt steal any resources from MAME anyway? Has anyone done a benchmark to see if it is really worth crippling an OS for?



It's more akin to clearing out your desk by throwing away receipts from ten years ago, pens that don't work, coupons that you will never use, junk mail, etc. If you never use Windows Messenger, ClipBook, Smart Card Services, etc. why keep them around?


But the point is, if it doesnt affect MAME, why do it? :-D
