Most of my mame games have sound that stutters all the time. I didn't have this stuttering problem a few days ago. Tried a restart and all that. Any suggestions? Settings?

Stuttering sound is normally a sign that your CPU is too slow. When it didn't happen 'a few days ago' then possibly a background task is taking too much CPU time.....or your CPU gets too hot and throttles down.

When was the last time you vacuumed out your case? Dust packed into heatsinks/vents insulates them and blocks airflow.
