Hi,
I just got a hold of an old PC that was given to me. Now what I want
to know is if I can use it for MAME at all. It is a Pentium 100 yup that's right 100 and it has Windows 95 on it.
Can this be used and if so is there a specific version of mame to use
or is it simply not worth it?
Thanks for all the help as usual guys.

You can use and older version of MAME (0.36 and before), but do not try running the newer releases of MAME unless you like slideshows followed by processor core meltdown :-)

It will only run older games within 0.36 anyways, like PacMan et al.

I would use a DOS based MAME for it, and boot into DOS mode as IIRC WIN95 did use resources for idling.

Install it and see!
