Corky's Cole Slaw
-serves 6
1 med. head green cabbage, shredded
2 med. carrots. grated
1 green pepper finely diced
drain the cabbage of what? I musta missed sumpin but then my slaw
never got any standin ovations neither. n if ya in texas is it
ok to use them orange haberneros instead of the green jalapenos?
I don't see where he specified jalapenos. I figured he meant green
bell pepper.
Ed?
The hot stuff was Charly's idea. Green is the original, but hey, if
you like it, go ahead.
Just wanted to say thanks for the recipe Ed it was a great cole slaw
just about the best I've had... I am not one for sweets so I did
reduced the sugar to a touch over 1/2 cup and perhaps dressed the slaw
lighter than norm.. It made a large gallon of slaw and I used maybe
2/3's of the dressing. All of us made repeat trips back to the bowl.
