of what I am writing, the added information of celsius or Farenheit
clears things up a bit. I don't know whether it's proper, but it

codes don't work on this system.
It's Windoze based. Type the codes into a Word document, and copy into
Thunderbird.
For those non-believers ;-) who keep saying to use the keypad, here's
proof that I ain't got none of them... ;-)

Look at that key in your lower lefthand corner that says Fn on it in blue.
Then
look at your jkl keys that have 1, 2, and 3 on them. That's your ten key
pad.
Fn + alt + ten key numbers should work just fine.
Having been a software tester on aix, unix, linux, SunOS, etc of CAD systems for 35 years, I'm very familiar with the keyboard layout and it's associated keys. None of the combinations stated work - honestly - don't fret it... I'm not. ;-) Thank heaven our software isn't for the WinBLOWS system! ;-)
