Sounds like there's a couple of guys here within spittin distance of

30 minutes north of San Jose here.
My workplace is less than a 1/2 mile from what's being called the San
Bruno Mtn. fire, but it's in Brisbane. It wasn't all that much really,
grass and brush mostly on a otherwise barren hill face.
I'm half way between Frisco and Sacratomato, and the smoke has been intense for most of a week now. 4000 acres burned 5 miles away (Solano "Wild Fire"), and had to evac the BW's 89 yr. old dad from Paradise (Butte County "Humboldt Fire", 20,000 acres). BW is in paradise now looking to bring him out again due to 31 separate lightning fires in the area. Another lightening storm predicted for Friday. It ain't no joke, but I wish I could figger a way to bottle that smoke.

Give a person a fish and you feed them for a day; teach a
person to use the internet and they won't bother you for
weeks.
