Where I live you just get what is available, the local grocery store
has a store brand that is probably made by royal oak since they seem
to make most of the store brands. Have not tried kingsford but at
least with lump they can not mix all the extra crap in.

Just watch out for any bags that are 8.8 pounds. Those are all
Cowboy lump and they do a lot of co-pack for private labeling.
Whole Foods, Fresh Market, etc...
