So, OK. So I've been thinking about how I pretty much use only
drugstore cosmetics and skin care these days, whereas in the past I was
a total makeup snob. But drugstore stuff has gotten so good within the
past few years that I cannot justify spending on high-end any more.
However...some things really seem to have no low-end doppelganger and
therefore are worth the Big Bucks.

So, what's "unique" as far as you're concerned, and therefore worth the
$$$?

At the moment, I can only think of one (!):

*LeClerc pressed powder in Banane. I just haven't found anything that
comes close to this, and I can justify the shekels even further because
this lasts a really long time even though I use it every day.

P.S. I used to think there would never be low-end substitutes for (a)
YSL's Touche Eclat or (b) Dior's undereye concealer (forget the exact
name). But now I use Revlon Skinlights Illusion Wand in Luminous Touch
for (a) and True Match concealer for (b).

For me: Prescriptives Beyond Long mascara
The LipFusion collagen type lip gloss I just purchased
Smashbox gel eyeliner in a plum shade
Paul Mitchell hair sprays (there are two types I use)
