It's August now, so I figured it was time to start up this thread!I am really sold on Clairins sun products. I use the same wrinkle control eye cream with the UV Plus lotion for my face every day under my makeup.
Hits:
Clarins Sun Wrinkle Control Eye Contour Care Spf 30 - I like that this has a high SPF, but does not feel greasy like my Kiehl's eye stick.
Eucerin Sensitive Skin Gentle Cleansing Milk -It's exactly what it says it is - a gentle cleansing milk! It's fragrance free, which is a plus for me.
Eucerin Sensitive Skin Balancing Facial Toner - I use this to wipe off the cleanser, as per the instructions. It is probably not totally necessary. My skin feels nice and soft after using the cleanser and toner combo. The toner is also fragrance free.
Misses:
Clarins One-Step Facial Cleanser - this was a GWP and I am glad I didn't spend any money on it. It left my face feeling like an oil slick. And yes, I did shake well before use, as instructed.
Dermalogica - had some samples given to me at a facial & I threw out the sachets so I might not get the names exactly right, but one was a moisturizer with SPF that had a name like Day Bright. It was awful - I had to scrub it off immediately after putting it on b/c it gave me a strange sheen not unlike the tin man, in varying shades of orange and fuschia. Yes, very odd.
The other product was some sort of tinted high spf facial sunscreen. I can't remember if it was marketed as a straight sunscreen or as a moisturizer with sunscreen. It did not have the quite same level of sheen as the Day Bright, but it was still on the shiny side.

My only other hit for the month is the Kiehl's cream de corps light weight body lotion. I took it with me when we were at the beach and used it daily.
I do not like liquid face cleansers at all. My favorite cleanser is the Lancome confort mousse.
