Re: What are *you* wearing today?

For two parties, one with friends and their many charming adorable
maddening children, and a second with adults and lots of Jack
Daniels (and a welcome rain in this parched season):

ancient navy & white seersuckeresque (though lighter than
seersucker) EF sleeveless boat-necked dress
navy cotton cardigan for the adult party AC
brown Cole Haan fishermen's sandals
red Kate Spade wristlet (I hate that word)
gold hoops, red Hermes bridle bracelet, wedding ring

and the new L'Oreal mineral foundation, which I like,
and have found very easy to apply--no problems with
too much shininess or opacity (I have never worn
foundation, rather tinted moisturizers)
