We use the RCA system. I remember in the early days of TV(1950s) of
the words, COMPATIBLE AND INCOMPATIBLE COLOR. I believe that the RCA
system won only because it could handle black and white and color
cohesively though the CBS system was a better system to reproduce
color. I think the CBS system was used when they would take a color
camera up in a space capsule.
