To get straight hair to get and stay wavy or curly takes at least as much
time, effort, and expense as becoming a double-process blond, with
similar penalties in texture and gloss.
To make the situation that much crazier, many people who have naturally
wavy or curly hair expend the equivalent resources to make it straight
(also a losing battle).
What you need is a cut that works for your own actual particular personal
hair.
And the patience to wait for that hair-type to have its day in the sun as
THE most desirable kind. This will come. The cyclic nature of fashion
is iron-clad.
