Re: Crocs: I surrender!

i bought a pair of crocs when they first came out. i sent them back
because they were so wide i couldn't stand to look down at them. my
feet are very small and the crocs made them look almost circular!

there's a newer, less wide version called the cayman. it comes in
shoes sizes which is helpful. i just bought a pair in silver (the only
place i've seen silver is at nordstrom.com) and haven't worn them out
of the house yet. i'm looking forward to wearing them this summer. i
saw an article about jibbetz (rhinestones, smiley faces, etc.) you can
get to put in the holes. i was thinking about getting some clear
rhinestones but then thought the better of it.

the crocs site says it's better to size up. i wear a 5.5 and bought a
6. they seem fine barefoot or with socks. actually, i think they'd be
super comfy with socks. mario batali wears them (in orange) and he's
no slouch in the kitchen so i think they're excellent for cooking.
