We just saw this last night, and I was a bit disappointed, probably
because it had so much hype so my expectations were too high! It
reminded me very much of Lost in Translation, which I also didn't like
all that much - kind of heavy and plodding.
But mostly, I kept thinking that I'd really love to see the story told
next from the wive's point of view. I felt so sorry for both of them,
to have their lives cheated like that. I guess I had a hard time
sympathizing with the lovers, since they were cheating their wives out
of a real marriage.
We also recently saw Hustle & Flow and I liked that very much. And
Enron is truly excellent. I usually get restless with documentaries,
but not with this one. It's a must see.
