recs for C35/C40

Hey all!
Im new to the group, but Ive kept up with this group for years now. I
was hoping if someone could recommend some blush and lip colors to go
with my skin tone. I am a MAC C35/C40..more towards the C40..with
black/brown hair and brown eyes. Also, can I wear Pinks and Rose
tones? The MA at the MAC counter suggested that I stick to plums and
mauves. As a result, I ended up buying the prism blush and Vivacious
lipglass. Thanks! I appreciate it! :)
