OK, Lucas has said he's on two SW projects at the moment: on covers the
Clone Wars after Episode II and one live action show covering secondary
characters. Plus I think the books DO had Lucas' blessing, at least
initially.

never will be. The story of the Star Wars movie Saga is over with six
episodes.
