I don't actually read the comics but I have kept a vague ear open on
the Legacy series because of the potential tie-ins with the LOTF
books.

After reading who Krayt was I looked the character up on Wookipedia. I
was very disappointed in what I read. I have a feeling that this is
why the Last of the Jedi book 8 has been delayed because I can see a
tie-in there as well. Personally I think the stories are getting a bit
ridiculous now. In many ways I wish they would stop. Just my personal
opinion.

I agree that there have been many EU stories that have been
ridiculous, but I've also enjoyed many of them. The Legacy comic has
been quite interesting to this point, but I think the one they chose
as Darth Krayt was a severe misstep. You'd have to have been deeply
versed in some of the other comics even to know who he was. I was
expecting a huge reveal and was very disappointed.

Yes I think it should have been someone more well known (at least in
the comic circles) and not another character from from a completely
different generation who just reapears out of seemingly nowhere.

On a slightly related note, are you reading the LOTF books as well? If
so what do you think of those so far?
