My apologies, my post read like I was including Battlestar Galactica in
the list of things you'd understand as your tastes mature. I meant 2001
and B5 only. Sorry.

Mystic mumbo-jumbo includes Babblealong 5, although since I only
watched a few episodes I don't know exactly how much it suffered from
that problem. Deep Space Nine suffered from it too from time to time,
but not enough to make it unwatchable thankfully.

My tastes are already "mature", that's why I have no interest in
over-sexed rubbish that most "adolescents" watch for the bimbo
eye-candy.


Many would consider Star Wars "mystic mumbo-jumbo." The shows you are
denigrating--Babylon 5 and the new Battlestar Galactica--both garnered
great reviews from a wide variety of sources.

Interesting that you call yourself mature but you seem to have a
phobia for mature themes.
