A couple of months back I put forward the idea about Mr Lucas one day
re-releasing the OT in complete CGI - using the original sound but
recreating the visual (icluding the characters of Mark Hamill, Carrie
Fisher, Harrison Ford etc) using CGI.
As these CGI animated cartoons are becoming more common and more
realistic and the Lucas Empire has supposedly commissioned an animated
Star Wars series, do you think that George Lucas is maybe using this
as a testing ground to one day re-creating the OT? Much as he did with
ILM in the years between the OT and PT to break new ground with
special effects?
Thoughts?
Maybe in future movies like ep 7,8,9
There is no "ep 7, 8, 9". The story of the movie Saga is over with six
movies. There MIGHT be more movies set in the Star Wars universe, but
they will be spin-offs and not labeled as more episodes of the Saga.
Instead they will be named in a similar way to the computer games
Star Wars: Jedi Knight I
Star wars: Jedi Knight II
.
