Not exactly the smae, IMO. Anakin Skywalker joined to try to get the
power to ensure that Padme would survive her childbirth. Jacen joined
to try to prevent the galaxy from being torn apart by civil war. But
they ARE similar in how good people, through good intentions, can be
corrupted.


I meant the constant barrage of making the galaxy a "peaceful" place from the Sith:
Palpatine: "Once more the Sith will rule the galaxy, and we shall have peace."
Anakin: "I have restored peace and security to my new empire"
Vader: "We can end this destructive conflict and bring peace and order to the galaxy"

Those are all paraphrases, but they do exhibit some insane passion for "peace".
