i only saw that the death star from star wars destroyed a planet:
Alderaan, with just a single blow, from its superlaser.....
that, alone is enough to convince me that the weapons in star wars is
much more powerful. A star wars guide i saw recently contains one of
the most powerful weapon in star wars: Sun Cruiser. It is the size of a
normal space shuttle, but within its hulk contains 9 torpodes. One
alone can destroy a planet ... Interested in the model, i had done a
follow up in the later series of star wars , and later found out that
it only show up in the series once, but used by a jedi master to seek
revenge for his parents. Althought used by selfish intentions, the
super weapon is used to destroy imperials, which in turn, benefited
others.... The machine is later put in the core of a planet to burn it
down. Even though it is a waste, but people with evil thoughts also
cannot lay their hands on it anymore.....
