_Guest_ spoke thusly:
What's the proof?
Well, the scene in the opera when Palpatine tells Anakin about the Sith history and creating life. The fact that Anakin's mother said that he had no father, "he just appeared." The fact that Anakin had no father, but was strong in the force. Palpatine said that his master made the mistake and taught him EVERYTHING that he knew. Palpatine kept repeating that Anakin will become stronger than he or Yoda. Palpatine was always talking to Anakin and every since Anakin arrived, he mentioned that he saw great things in him. He saved Anakin when he could have been dead. He knew that Luke should be as powerful or more powerful than Vader.
First things first:
- that "-- " at the top of your post? That's an RFC standard signature delimiter. Some news readers are smart enough to detect it not quote the signature. It's a cool feature, except when people like you put their entire post below the signature delimiter. :-(
- and those greater-than signs (">"). They are meant to indicate quoted text from the person you are replying to.
On to the subject at hand. :-)
Palpy was playing with Anakin's emotions, like a mandolin. Not to mention he contradicts himself later, by saying "To cheat death is a power only one has achieved but if we work together I know we will discover the secret." Even if Palpy did know, you're still making a *BIG* assumption. What I asked for was proof.
