Whether you liked his music or not (and I've never been sure that
music that intentionally makes itself difficult to listen to is a good
idea) you have to hand it to a guy who truly had original ideas and a
sound that was strictly his own.

Not many people ever get to be the first one to leave footprints in a
place where no one has stepped before.
