Having seen a bunch of spam messages today, a question needs to be
asked:

Does anyone want AFL to be moderated? I think that it's time for a
moderator.

I guess I don't have a lot of sympathy for Google Groups users complaining
about spam. GG is the primary vector for it. I'd suggest getting an account
with news.individual.net (10 euros/year, text-only). They run the cleanfeed
system and eliminate virtually all spam.
