next movie "Grown up's". Chris is hugely popular and is also a friend
of the show....and...... Chris can poke fun of Dave's recent foibles
because he went through the same thing (Almost getting a divorce from

Yup. But Chris is both smart and funny  -attributes you've yet to even

I found Chris Rock's ribbing of Dave's recent problems hysterically
funny as I did Dave's reaction. It was in the same vain as Carson
making fun of his divorces and martial troubles. Dave has never held
himself up to be some kind of moral arbiter in fact he has frequently
pointed out shortcomings over the years. I know that in your world
where low talent hacks like Sarah Palin and Jay Leno rule, it's hard
to comprehend that Dave is able to poke fun of himself. Ricky Gervais
also came on and gave Dave shit about his predicament and he was back
on the show very shortly so your point is mute.    Dipshit.

Dave perpetrated and the now historically cemented (in his bio; you
know, goes in the obit, etc) documentation of it. Since you're all
good with it and all......

So what "ugly fiasco" are you talking about? The being blackmailed and
having your family threatened fiasco? Or the single man having sex
with female staffers fiasco? Sorry, I can't get worked up or upset
over Dave's personal life. These are ALL adults and what ever goes on
is between him and them and between him and his wife and nobody else's
business. It will be cemented in his bio just as it was cemented into
Carson's bio or Gleason's bio or Groucho's bio or Pryer's bio.
