I turned the show off pretty quickly after he arrived.

Well, we have to agree to disagree. I find him very funny; like laugh-
out-loud funny.

yep, we definitely disagree.....

This is the 21st century, and race/ethnic satires, including self-
satire, went away substantially, though
pops up a  la Don Rickles, B.E.T & WARNER (?) channel sit-coms, in
rapper parodies, and is in the touchy-sensitive
grayish area that the Wayans Brothers and several others must navigate
everyday

MacFarlaine's Fox cartoons are deliberately everything but p.c., and
that has to be the attraction:
FAMILY "JERK" is my favorite, while CLEVELAND and AMERICAN DAD are
worth much more
than the price of admission (consuming commercials upon commercials)

MacFarlane pulls few punches (if any), and guilty sicko preverts enjoy
the h outa his cuttingly creative
satires--my favorites--along with THE SIMPSONS and HANK HILL Texas
satire

Norman Lear (still kicking?) broke taboos-barriers successfully, so we
can enjoy our
various hangups & absurdities

Tracey Morgan is at least one SNL alumnus whom is
more humorous now than then, and plays a role with DL as good or
better than  Nipsy Russell, Red Foxx, Flipp Wilson ...

The late Richard Pryor was popular with blacks AND
whites, in a category of his own

I don't like most Eddie Murphy movies, while he is as good
as it could get on in his SNLs

I listened religiously on the radio to Amos & Andy, and watched
the version with real black actors on tv:
The NAACP did kibosh it in the mid 20th century, and so
now it's up to the insider Wayans, Morgan, and others--not
outsider others- Hide quoted text -

why did race come into all this? i just don't think tracy morgan is
funny.

I'll acknowledge a rather ... rhetorical question and leave it
there for immorally
