In the end, this leaves you with a moral decision: do you let the
assorted netloons spread their poison across Usenet without a
dissenting word -which amounts to ceding them the Sudetenland in
hopes of peace- or do you make them look like fools they are by
politely pointing out their lies, their distortions, and their varied
psychosis, and letting them suffer the consequences of their own
behavior? It's a personal choice, and one that each poster must make
for themselves.

Also, the deal is that he is portraying Dave as a gambler-holic based
on one joke in his montalogue

Make that 2 jokes, or rather twice he went to the same joke in the
space of a few days. It stands to reason he might have bet on the
game; his arrogant hyping on what a blowout it would be for the Colts
lends to the notion that he really did think it was a good bet. And
might as well bet on "his" team, and the legendary Peyton. It's all
good. Until they actually played the game that is.

I merely asked, btw, if he has gambling issues. Often jokes have their
kernel of truth or experiential resonance you know. That's Comedy 101
folks.

and spreading all over the web.  If
people read it enough and nobody counters it, then they will believe
it.

Maybe...I do try to ignore him and not respond, but not this time.

The rest is my making fun of the spectacle that is Letterman Inc.

And why oh why did he insist on injure Biff like that in the wake of
his SuperBowl comeuppance>?

And to answer further, I only half-troll; mostly though just being a
thorny pill just like Dave when he starts in on his repetitive
sadistic pounding habits re: palin et al. It's almost like a method
mimicry of Dave's style turned back on him. This is the place to
devolve into such histrionics, and only since he provides such easy
openings. In essence I perform a certain service here in antidote to
all the Dave love.
