I don't think there's any hatchet to be buried.  I think you need a
walk out in fresh air. Give your head a shake. Some of you seem more
emotionally involved in Letterman's life and career than Letterman
himself. LOL

Actually if you have listened to Leno comment on his relationship with
Letterman over the last 18 years, there appears to have been a hatchet
to be buried. Even in Leno's retirement announcement in 2004, he said
that friendships were permanently damaged over the handling of his
taking over the Tonight Show from Carson. It is pretty safe to say, he
was talking about his friendship with Dave.

BTW, many on here ARE emotionally involved with Letterman's life and
career. If you notice, this IS a Letterman fan group! Did you really
"laugh out loud" at your post?
