Because Monday was Yom Kippur, it was decided to tape Friday's show on

Was Will not there for the whole show?

I'm almost positive he was out,
and I didn't recognize the replacement.
Was it Fransisco Santano?

You're right -- I just skimmed through both the Thursday and Friday
shows, and Will's not there for the Friday broadcast. He is definitely
there for the Thursday broadcast.

I also double-checked Fab Faux's most recent bulk e-mail: the band
appeared live on The Mark and Brian Show on KLOS 95.5 in Los Angeles
on Friday morning at 8 am.

This tells us two things:

1. The Fab Faux most likely left NY for LA Thursday evening for their
appearance on L.A. radio at 8 am the next morning.

2. Will's presence on the Thursday show and his absence on the Friday
show gives us the sequence of the show tapings: Thursday show taped
first, Friday show taped second.

That could have been Centeno, but I'm not at all positive. He last
subbed for Will in June '06, so a comparison is in order.
