She got an advance in the millions to write a book and Fox News would bend over
backwards to get her to host a show. She now has the contacts to get her a
paying seat on the board of directors of a large corporation. She can be hired
as a high-profile lobbyist. All of that is more lucrative and less pressured
than elected office.
If she resigned for personal reasons, she may have reevaluated her personal
goals and decided either going for higher elected office wasn't going to get her
to her goals or the price was too high.

Sorry I think she is a quitter, when the going got tough she quit. If
I owned a firm she'd be the last person Id
want representing me.
