Our tomato plants have outgrown the 6' stakes and now are supported by 8' stakes.
Here are some pictures...the first and second are the garden area with the 6' ladder used to install the new staking.
The other two are of eggplants, the third a "Fairy Tale" and fourth a "Japanese" eggplants.
