I think you do it to try to save the planet, although as Dave has
mentioned many times it's probably too late for that. Hybrids and
electric cars cost way more than they're worth and you never "save"
money by having one. And where is the electricity coming from to run
them? Either coal-fired or petroleum-burning hydro-electric plants
which are doing more harm to the environment than cars or nuclear
plants which will be the death of us all some day.

Wow, what brought that on?
